The UTV Dog Seat / Bed

Everyone that owns a dog and likes to go offroading has some decisions to make when it comes to their pets. Are you just going up for the day and want to pack light?… or are you staying for multiple nights and taking everything including the kitchen sink.

Well if you’re like me and love to take the dogs camping and offroading with you then you may want to consider getting them their own seat for your UTV. If you have a Polaris RZR or Polaris Ranger then you could upgrade your rig to have a safe comfortable seat for your pooch.

The seats of a Polaris RZR or Ranger come with quick-release seat mounting hardware attached to the bottom so the idea of a replaceable passenger seat for your dog is very enticing.

I met someone that is an upholstery master and makes these custom seats as a side project. He doesn’t want to deal with setting up a website and handling digital payments so he’s agreed to sell them through this web page.

There are two different models:

Here is the single-seat that comes with the Polaris quick release mounting hardware.

Front Seat Model

And here is the larger full back seat model.

Back Seat Model

The back seat shown in the pictures does require a separate aftermarket product called the Tusk Seat Cargo Rack Kit and that can be found at rockymountainatvmc.com. It basically turned the back seat area into a cargo area and it ranges in price from $160 – $220 depending on what model of Polaris or Can-am side by side you own. (see picture below)
